Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020, a High Risk Work Licence is mandatory for operating a forklift in Western Australia. Our face-to-face course delivers the nationally recognised unit TLILIC0003 – Licence To Operate A Forklift Truck.

Conduct routine checks and identify hazards
Safely operate a forklift truck
Shut down and secure the forklift truck
Apply safe work practices and procedures
Upon completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment and can apply for their High Risk Work Licence through WorkSafe WA.

High Risk Work Licence issued by WorkSafe WA upon successful application
Must be 18 years or older
Proof of WA residency (e.g., WA driver's licence or utility bill)
Valid Photo ID
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Conversational level of English for reading, responding, and interpreting safety information
Verbal, Practical & Theory Assessments:
Assessments are conducted in English only, without the use of translators.
Participants must verify their identity using a valid Photo ID during the assessment process.
All PPE is supplied except for footwear.
Participants must complete all course components within the allocated timeframe. Failure to do so will require re-enrollment and payment of associated fees.
Note: High Risk Work Licences require an additional licensing fee payable to WorkSafe.
